CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - After a low scoring first half kept the Cornell Rams in the game for over a half before the Kohawk offense exploded in a 52-39 Monday night at Eby Fieldhouse.

Coe shot a season-low 29 percent from the field, but were able to connect on 16-of-20 free throws in the win over the Linn County rival.

It was the fourth straight win for the Kohawks in the series, who now own a 36-23 advantage. Coe has now won six of the last seven games played at Eby Fieldhouse in the series.

Coe scored eight of the game's first 10 points, with four of them coming from sophomore Brittany Norris (Cedar Rapids, Iowa/Jefferson). With 7:41 to play, Cornell went on a 7-0 run to cut the Coe lead to one with 5:29 to play in the opening frame.

The Kohawks answered with a 17-4 run over the next 7:57 to take a 17 point lead, their largest of the game. A 7-0 run by the Rams in the final minutes cut the lead to 10 points, but Coe closed the game by scoring final three points of the game.

Norris led all scorers with 16 points. She also added six rebounds and three blocked shots. Sophomore Sarah Anciaux (Iowa City, Iowa/City) nearly recorded her second-straight triple-double, but fell short with just 13 points, nine rebounds and eight assists. She also added a game-high five steals.
