CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - Junior Tyler Gunderson (Lisbon, Iowa/Lisbon) has been named to the Cleveland Golf/Srixon All-America Scholars team. Gunderson was one of four golfers from the Iowa Conference selected.
To be eligible for Cleveland Golf/Srixon All-America Scholar status, an individual must be a junior or senior academically and competed in at least two full years at the collegiate level, participated in 70-percent of his teams competitive rounds or compete in the NCAA championship, have a stroke average of 79.0 or lower in Division III and maintain a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 3.2 or higher. A recipient must also be of high moral character and be in good standing at his college or university.
Gunderson recently completed his junior season, where he earned All-Iowa Conference honors for the third-straight year. Gunderson finished fourth in 2014 with a 301, tied for the fifth lowest IIAC Championship score in school history.
