A celebration is planned for the national runner-up Kohawks when they return to campus on Tuesday, May 19. The general public is invited to attend.

The Coe softball team finished the best season in school history Monday placing second at the NCAA Division III World Series. Before advancing to the national tournament at Montclair, N.J., the Kohawks won the Iowa Conference Tournament and the NCAA Division III Regional Tournament in Bloomington, Ill. The Coe women concluded the season with a 41-13 overall record.

Everyone is encouraged to be on the north side of Eby Fieldhouse at 3:15 p.m. in anticipation of the arrival of the team.  A brief welcome back ceremony will be held at the Victory Bell next to Eby Fieldhouse, with an all-campus barbeque picnic set to begin at 4 p.m.
