Division II and III place-kickers seldom receive national recognition, and we are delighted to recognize them based on outstanding performance in the community and expectations going into the 2009 college football season."
Rausa has tallied 107 points so far in his career, ranking fourth best in school history. His 10 field goals in both his freshman and sophomore year sit tied atop the school record books, while his 20 career field goals ranks third all-time.
Along with the his duties on the football team, Rausa is a member of the men's tennis and soccer teams at Coe. He has volunteered at Waterloo's Catholic Worker House, helping with the poor and underprivilged. He has also worked various tennis and kicking camps in Eastern Iowa.
