CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - Lisa Frank (Racine, Wis./Prairie) scored the first goal of the season for the Coe women's soccer team, as they beat Monmouth 1-0 Saturday afternoon.  It was the first win of the season for the Kohawks.Freshman Jenny Snook (Cedar Rapids, Iowa/Kennedy) had the assist on the goal for Frank, whose goal improved Coe to 1-1 on the year.  As a team, the Kohawks took just five shots on the day. 

Senior Erin Ridley (St. Paul, Minn./Convant of the Visitation) tallied 13 saves, playing all 90 minutes in the net.

The Kohawks return to action on Thursday when they host St. Ambrose at 5 p.m.   The match will be played at Clark Field on Coe's campus.
