CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - The Kohawk women's tennis team earned their fifth win of the season and improved to 4-0 in the Iowa Conference with a 9-0 win over Loras.  It was the second shutout win of the year for the Kohawks.Junior Hanna Jensen (Iowa City, Iowa/West) was a 6-1, 6-1 winner over Lindsay Dunkirk at number one singles.  She also teamed with senior Megan Fiala (Cedar Rapids, Iowa/Jefferson) for an 8-3 win over Katherine Mack and Sarah Dickhut at number three doubles.

Senior Andrea Schupbach (Cedar Falls, Iowa/Columbus) was a 6-1, 6-1 winner over Ale Ruales at number two singles.  She also teamed with her sister, freshman Michelle Schupbach (Cedar Falls, Iowa/Columbus) for an 8-0 win at number one doubles.  Michelle Schupbach was also a 6-0, 6-0 victor over Mack at number four singles.

Senior HIllary Allen (Ft. Collins, Colo./Ft. Collins) earned a 6-2, 7-5 win over Alisha Espey at number three singles.  She also teamed with junior  Katy Delagardelle (Waterloo, Iowa/Columbus) for an 8-2 win at number two doubles.  Delagardelle also earned a shutout win at number five singles, as she defeated Breann Billiet 6-0, 6-0.

Freshman Sara Ohlman (Washington, Ill./Washington) earned a 6-1, 7-5 win over Kady Homewood at number six singles.

The Kohawks return to action Saturday morning when they travel to Grinnell for a 10 a.m. match.
