DECORAH, Iowa - The Coe College men's golf team finished the season Saturday at the 2016 Iowa Conference Men's Golf Championships with a seventh place finish.
Hunter Livermore (Atkins, Iowa/Benton Community) led the Kohawks at the four-day event with a 315, as he tied for 19th. Livermore shot an 81 in the final round. Jason Gingrich (Cedar Rapids, Iowa/Linn-Mar) followed Livermore with a 29th place finish with a 324. Gingrich shot an 80 in the final round.
Anthony Worden (Lakeville, Minn./Lakeville North) tied for 33rd with a 331 over the event. Worden shot the lowest round of the day for the Kohawks on Saturday, as he fired a 77. Wade Hill (Monroe, Iowa/Prairie City-Monroe) shot an 88 on Saturday, as he finished 36th with a 340 for the tournament. Seth Inman (Vinton, Iowa/Vinton-Shellsburg) rounded out the scoring for the Kohawks, as his 86 on Saturday put him in 37th overall with a 342.
The Kohawks finished seventh as a team with a 1,304 for the tournament. Coe shot a 324 on Saturday, which was identical to the second round score the Kohawks shot a week ago. Luther won the team title with a 1,215, while Simpson's Trent Lindenman took top individual honors with a 291.
