For the second-straight year, Konrardy was named to the D3baseball.com All-Central Region Second Team. Konrardy joins AJ Reuter (2014 & 2015) and Nick Stein (2012 & 2013) as the only two-time selections to the team in school history. DeLaney was named the D3baseball.com Central Region Rookie of the Year. DeLaney joins Wartburg's Blake Wilson in 2012 as the only Iowa Conference players to earn the honor. Konrardy and DeLaney were both named All-Iowa Conference First Team selections last week.
Konrardy hit .401 on the year, becoming the first player in school history to hit over .400 in multiple seasons. Konrardy scored 34 runs, while driving in 27 runs of his own. Konrardy had 17 extra base hits, including nine doubles. His 61 hits on the year are the 11th most in school history, while his four triples are tied for the fifth most in school history. Konrardy finishes his career with a .365 batting average, the fifth best in school history. He ranks third in school history with 602 career at-bats. Konrardy is Coe's career leader in hits with 220 and doubles with 54. He ranks second in runs scored with 136 and 11th in RBI with 97. Konrardy also ranks second in school history with 11 triples and third with 47 stolen bases.
DeLaney hit .380 on the year with 60 hits, the 13th most hits in school history. DeLaney scored 28 runs, while driving in 13 of his own. DeLaney had eight doubles and stole 11 bases. DeLaney's 158 at-bats this season were the 21st most in school history.
Coe, Wartburg and Buena Vista are the only schools in the Iowa Conference with a selection to the D3baseball.com All-Central Region team in all five years the award has been handed out. The Kohawks, Knights and Beavers are also the only three programs with double digit selections over that time, with Coe having 10 selections.
