CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - The Coe men's soccer team kicked off the Iowa Conference portion of its schedule with a 3-1 win over Cornell Saturday at Clark Field.  Three different Kohawks scored in the win.Freshman Pat Montag (Cedar Rapids, Iowa/Kennedy) put the Kohawks on the scoreboard early with a goal 7:44 into the match.  Sophomore Chris Yossi (Cedar Rapids, Iowa/Kennedy) added another goal just over 12 minutes later, putting the Kohawks up 2-0 at halftime.

Just over four minutes into the second half, freshman Shu Doti found sophomore Josh Kleinmeyer (Iowa City, Iowa/City) for the Kohawks third goal of the game at 49:24.  Cornell added a goal by William Helland at 74:26, but it wasn't enough for the Rams to make a comeback. 

Sophomore Grady Brown (Madison, Wis./Memorial) recorded three saves in the net for the Kohawks.

Coe will return to action on Tuesday when they travel to Augustana for a 7:30 p.m. match.
