CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - After back-to-back double overtime games without a win, the Coe women's soccer team found itself on the winning end of things today.  Coe used a goal early in overtime for a 2-1 win over Cornell in the Iowa Conference opener.Junior Justine Screws (Cedar Rapids, Iowa/Jefferson) wasted no time scoring her first goal of the season.  Less than three minutes into the match, Screws had the Kohawks on top 1-0 with the goal.  With 1:28 to play in the match, Cornell answered with a goal by Jen Swotek.  It was the third goal of the season by Swotek, which sent the game to overtime.

3:42 into the sudden death extra period, freshman Jenny Snook (Cedar Rapids, Iowa/Kennedy) tallied her fourth goal of the season, snapping the Kohawks five-match losing streak.

Senior Erin Ridley (Minneapolis, Minn./Convant of the Visitation) recorded four saves in 93:42 in the net.
