STORM LAKE, Iowa - The Coe women's soccer team earned a 3-1 win over Buena Vista Saturday, as they improved to 2-1 in the Iowa Conference.  Freshman Lisa Frank (Racine, Wis./Prairie) doubled her season total for goals with two in the game.It took a little while for the Kohawks to get things going at the Buena Vista Soccer Complex, but once they scored, they did it in bunches.  Junior Justine Screws (Cedar Rapids, Iowa/Jefferson) notched her second goal of the season in the 32nd minute, putting the Kohawks ahead 1-0.

Under five minutes later, freshman Jenny Snook (Cedar Rapids, Iowa/Kennedy) found Frank for her third goal of the year, extending the Kohawk lead to 2-0.  It was the third assist of the season for Snook, whom leads the team in both goals scored and assists.

Just over five minutes later, Frank added her second goal of the game, extending the Coe lead to 3-0.  The Kohawks held the 3-0 lead until the final five minutes when Kelsey Reitmeier added a goal at 85:55, but it wasn't enough for a comeback.

As a team, the Kohawks outshot Buena Vista 27-7, while holding an 8-0 advantage in corner kicks.

The Kohawks return to action on Wednesday, when they host Loras.  The match will start at 2 p.m. at Clark Field.
