STORM LAKE, Iowa - Coe wasted no time scoring on Saturday, but it would be the only goal of the game for either team.  Freshman Jacob Johnson (Cedar Rapids, Iowa/Washington) recorded his team-high sixth goal of the season in the sixth minute for the win.The Kohawks improved to 2-1 in the Iowa Conference with the win, while improving to 6-6-1 overall.  As a team, the Kohawks tallied 18 shots, while the Beavers had 15. 

Sophomore Grady Brown (Madison, Wis./Memorial) earned the win in the net for Coe.  The regining Iowa Conference Player of the Week recorded seven saves in the game, giving him 48 in almost 900 minutes in the net.

The Kohawks will face 10th-ranked Loras on Wednesday at Clark Field.  The match will start at 4 p.m.
