CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - For the first time since the preseason poll, the Kohawk men's cross country team is ranked in the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association poll.  Coe is the second highest Iowa Conference school with its eighth place ranking.This past weekend, the Kohawks turned in the best Iowa Conference Championship performance in school history.  Their second place standing beat last years third place standing, which had previously stood as the best finish in school history.

Nebraska Wesleyan is the top-ranked team in the region, while fellow Iowa Conference school's Luther and Cornell join the Kohawks in the rankings.  Luther is fourth, while the Rams are 10th.

The Kohawks will return to action Nov. 14 at the NCAA Regional Championships, hosted by Grinnell College.
