TEMPE, Ariz. - The Coe College men's tennis team moved up to 36th in the latest Oracle/ITA Men's Tennis rankings. It is the 18th-straight poll the Kohawks have been ranked in.
The Kohawks have been ranked in every poll since the final poll of the 2014 season. At 12-4 this season, all four of Coe's losses are to teams currently ranked in the top 20 in the nation.
A pair of Kohawks were ranked in the individual rankings from Nov. 1, as Brady Anderson (Cedar Rapids, Iowa/Linn-Mar) is ranked 32nd and Alex Bernt (Cedar Falls, Iowa/Columbus) is ranked 48th. In the Nov. 1 regional rankings, Coe is ranked ninth as a team. Anderson is eighth in the regional rankings, while Bernt is 13th and James McManus (Cedar Falls, Iowa/Cedar Falls) is 16th. The next set of team national rankings comes out March 30, while the next singles and doubles national rankings comes out June 1. The next set of regional team, singles and doubles rankings comes out March 30.
The Kohawks (12-4, 2-0 IIAC) return to action March 25 at the Clark Racquet Center for a pair of matches against Nebraska Wesleyan and Central. Coe will face the Prairie Wolves at 9 a.m., followed by the Dutch at noon.
