LOUISVILLE, Ky. - For the sixth-straight week, the Coe College softball team is ranked in the NFCA Top 25. The Kohawks moved up to seventh in this week.
Sitting at 20-3 on the year, the Kohawks are one of three Iowa Conference teams that are ranked in the poll. Luther moved up two spots to fifth, while Central moved up three spots to 14th. The seventh-ranked Kohawks are tied with St. John Fisher in the rankings, a team they beat over spring break. The Kohawks also own a win over 17th-ranked St. Thomas. Kean, one of just three teams to beat Coe this year, is ranked 14th.
The Kohawks rank 12th in the nation with a 1.34 ERA, while ranking 11th in the nation with 2.74 stolen bases per game. Coe is 11th in the nation with a .870 winning percentage. Maliah Fligg (Tiffin, Iowa/Clear Creek-Amana) ranks 26th in the nation in victories with 10, while also ranking 35th in the nation with three shutouts. Haley Jones (Waterloo, Iowa/West) ranks 37th in the country with five home runs, while Mallory McArtor (Riverside, Iowa/Mid-Prairie) ranks 38th with .78 stolen bases per game.
