GRINNELL, Iowa - After turning in a record-setting finish at the Iowa Conference Championships two weeks ago, the men's cross country team placed 12th of 25 teams at Saturday's NCAA Regional Championships. Four Kohawks finished in the top 76.Senior
Lane Moser (Wapello, Iowa/Wapello) led the Kohawks with his 22nd place finish in 25:54.5. Moser will wait for the NCAA announcement tomorrow for at-large selections to next weekend's NCAA National Championships.
Sophomore
Andrew Dewar (Lake Bluff, Ill./Lake Forest) ran a 26:39.5 for 52nd, while junior
DC Cusanelli (Saint Jacob, Ill./Triad) finished 63rd in 26:48.4. Sophomore
Jordan Lord (Lee's Summit, Mo./Lee's Summit) placed 76th in 26:59.5.
On the women's side, the Kohawks were led to a 23rd place finish by three seniors.
Jessica Robison (Iowa City, Iowa/City) placed 121st in 25:06.5.
Stacy Voccia (Glenn Ellyn, Ill./Glenbard West) was 129th in 25:23.0, while
Heather White (Dysart, Iowa/Union) ran a 25:50.8 for a 143rd place finish.
St. Thomas won the men's title, while Carleton took top honors in the women's race.
