CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - For the 14th time in his career, junior Brady Anderson (Cedar Rapids, Iowa/Linn-Mar) has been named the Iowa Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Week.
Anderson had a pair of wins against Luther, as Coe beat the Norse for their 36th-straight win over an Iowa Conference opponent in the regular season. The Kohawk victory wrapped up Coe's sixth-straight Iowa Conference Championship and the 12th in program history. Anderson beat Kyle Appel 6-4, 6-4 at number one singles, while he teamed with Nate Greiner (Polk City, Iowa/North Polk) for an 8-3 win over Anders Jensen and Nate Parsons at number two doubles. Anderson is now 24-4 in singles this season and 21-6 in doubles play.
The 38th-ranked Kohawks (23-4, 8-0 IIAC) return to action April 30 at 40th-ranked Wisconsin-Whitewater (12-11). The match is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. in Whitewater, Wis.
