CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - The history making season for the Kohawk football program continues to get better.  The final rankings for D3football.com had the Kohawks ranked 10th in the nation Monday, the highest the program has ever been ranked.
The Kohawks enter the NCAA Division III playoffs with a 9-1 overall record and ranked 25th in the final regular season poll.  Thanks to an upset of then fourth-ranked St. John's, the Kohawks finished the year 10th.  It is the highest the program has ever been ranked and the highest ranking since the 2006 squad was 14th after a 4-0 start in 2006.

In the American Football Coaches Association Poll (AFCA) the Kohawks finished 12th.  Coe finished the season 10-2, with the only two losses coming to St. Thomas and Central.  The Tommies finished the year fifth in both polls, while the Dutch were eighth in the D3football.com poll and 13th in the AFCA poll.
