DECORAH, Iowa - Despite its lowest scoring effort in three years, the Kohawk women's basketball team edged Luther 43-40 Monday night in Iowa Conference action. It was the third-straight win for the Kohawks.
The game was dominated by the defense, as Coe's six point lead early in the first half was the largest by either team. With 1:18 to play in the game, the Norse took their final lead of the game on a jumper by Camille Stenhaug.

Sarah Anciaux (Iowa City, Iowa/City) hit a 3-point basket to give the Kohawks a two-point lead. With :09 to play, junior
Devvin Rolston (Clinton, Iowa/Clinton) sealed the win with a pair of free throws.
Rolston was the only Kohawk to score in double figures, as she finished with 10 points. She was 4-for-4 from the free throw line. Rolston also added a team-high five rebounds and four assists. Junior
Kayla Lincoln (Maynard, Iowa/West Central) added eight points and five rebounds, while sophomore
Leslie Ware (Des Moines, Iowa/Johnston) and Anciaux added seven points apiece. Anciaux also had four steals.

Kayla Waskow (Dunkerton, Iowa/Dunkerton) added five rebounds and five points.
The Kohawks return to action on Wednesday night, as they host Buena Vista. Both teams are in the top-three in the conference standings. Tipoff is scheduled for 6 p.m. at Eby Fieldhouse.
