DECORAH, Iowa - After trailing for most of the dual, the third-ranked Kohawks took the final lead after junior Seth Rehn's (Oceanside, Calif./Vista) major decision at 174 pounds to beat 13th-ranked Luther 28-19 Friday night.  Coe improved to 15-3 overall and 6-1 in the Iowa Conference with the win.
The Kohawks gave up six points to start the night, as they forfeited at 125 pounds.  Freshman Drew Hinschberger (Belle Plaine, Iowa/Belle Plaine) improved to 17-7 with his second major decision of the season.  Hinschberger defeated Louis Mazeta 8-0 at 133 pounds.

Freshman Chris LeClere (Coggon, Iowa/North-Linn) garnered his 15th win of the season with a 6-5 win over Kevin Bokoski at 141 pounds, giving the Kohawks their first lead of the meet.

Seventh-ranked Jason Pyle pinned senior Mark Carey (Raytown, Mo./South) in 6:38 at 149 pounds.  Luther took a 15-7 lead, the largest of the meet for the Norse, as Lance Serbousek won on riding time over sophomore Johnny Siegel (New London, Iowa/New London).

The Kohawks got right back in the meet with four-straight wins, all earning bonus points.  Sophomore Nick LeClere (Coggon, Iowa/North-Linn) won by technical fall over Adam Rave at 165 pounds.  LeClere won 19-4 in 7:00.  Coe took its final lead on the major decision by Rehn at 174 pounds.

Coe sealed the win with back-to-back falls at 184 and 197 pounds.  Senior Tyler Burkle (Coggon, Iowa/North Linn) pinned Nic Barclay in 2:28 before senior Rob Kramer (Swisher, Iowa/Prairie) sealed the meet with his fall of Jack Steinberg in 4:40.  Coe closed the meet as freshman Kyle Kober (West Branch, Iowa/West Branch) lost a major decision to eighth-ranked Allyn Plattner 15-7 at heavyweight.

The Kohawks will wrap up the regular season next Friday, as they travel to eighth-ranked Cornell.  The match is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. in Mount Vernon.
