CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - Coe cruised to a 90-46 win over Central Wednesday night at Eby Fieldhouse, securing at least second place in the Iowa Conference.  With a shot at the Iowa Conference Title, the Kohawks are guaranteed of the best league finish in school history.
The 90 points the Kohawks put on the scoreboard is tied for the seventh most points in school history. The point total tied a mark set 13 months to the date against the same Dutch squad, with that win coming by 24 points in Pella.  The win improved the Kohawks to 17-7 on the season, surpassing the 1980-81 team for the second most wins in school history.

Coe led by three with 10:30 to play in the first half before a 10-0 run opened the game up.  The Kohawks held the Dutch without a point in the final 2:46 of the opening half, scoring nine-straight points of their own to take a 46-24 lead into the break.

Junior Devvin Rolston (Clinton, Iowa/Clinton) opened the second half on an 8-2 run, increasing Coe's lead to 28 points with 16:31 to play.  After an old fashioned 3-point play by AJ Baker, Coe went on a 16-2 run to increase its lead to 39 with over 11 minutes left.  The Kohawk lead increased to 40 points with 4:05 to play and never dropped below that.

Sophomore Alyssa Brockhaus (Sioux City, Iowa/Lawton-Bronson) scored a career-high 16 points to lead all scorers.  She also added eight rebounds.  Junior Kayla Lincoln (Maynard, Iowa/West Central) and sophomore Kayla Waskow (Dunkerton, Iowa/Dunkerton) joined Brockhaus in double-figures with 10 and 12 points respectively.  Only one Coe starter played more than 17 minutes.

Junior Sarah Anciaux (Iowa City, Iowa/City) and sophomore Kelsey Jipp (Bettendorf, Iowa/Pleasant Valley) added nine points each, while Rolston and sophomore Leslie Ware (Des Moines, Iowa/Johnston) had eight and seven points respectively.
