CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - Coe College freshman Frank Weymiller (New Albin, Iowa/Waukon) has been named a D3football.com All-American. Weymiller was one of just three Iowa Conference players selected to the team, earning honorable mention honors.

Prior to the All-American honors, Weymiller was a First Team All-Iowa Conference selection and was named to the D3football.com All-West Region Second Team.

Weymiller's name populated the Coe record books this season, as he landed in 11 different locations. Coe's single-season sacks record was shattered by Weymiller, as he stuck the quarterback 15.5 teams, nearly twice as many as the previous holder. Weymiller finished the season with 22 tackles for loss, falling just one shy of tying the school record. Twice this season Weymiller recorded 3.5 sacks, the second most in a single-game in school history. After just one season, Weymiller is 2.5 sacks away from breaking Coe's career record.

Coe finished the season ranked 10th in the nation, the highest in program history. The Kohawks ended the season with a 10-2 overall record and were one of the final 16 teams playing in the country, after a first round upset of fourth-ranked St. John's in the NCAA Division III National Playoffs.
