BEREA, Ohio - Three Kohawks in four different events have qualified for the 2010 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships this weekend.  Coe will participate in the 400-meter dash, 400-meter hurdles, shot put and discus at Baldwin-Wallace College.
Junior Sarah Anciaux (Iowa City, Iowa/City) qualified in the shot put and discus.  Her throw of 46' 10" in the shot put ranks as the third best in the nation.  She threw a 149' 10" discus, the fifth best in the country.  The shot put is at 4 p.m. on Friday, while the discus is held at 11 a.m. on Saturday.  Anciaux is one of two Iowa Conference participants in each event.

Sophomore Keelie Finnel (Francis Creek, Wis./Mishicot) ran the fourth fastest time in the country in the 400-meter dash.  An indoor track All-American in the same event, Finnel ran a 55.85 to qualify for this year's championships.  She will be one of five Iowa Conference members to run at 3:10 p.m. Friday in the preliminaries.  The finals will be held at 1:10 p.m. Saturday.

Freshman Sara Heizer (Milliken, Colo./Roosevelt) qualified in the 400-meter hurdles.  Her time of 62.77 was the eighth best in the nation.  She will run at 4 p.m. on Thursday, with the finals being held at 2:15 p.m. Saturday.  Three other Iowa Conference members will join Heizer in the event.

The Kohawks are ranked 15th nationally in the latest USTFCCA rankings.  Wartburg is ranked number one in the nation, with Simpson, the only other Iowa Conference school, ranked ninth
