CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - The Coe men's soccer team improved to 3-0 on the year with their third-straight shutout.  The Kohawks needed just one goal to beat Augustana, as the Vikings fell to 0-2.

In the 39th minute, sophomore Jacob Johnson (Cedar Rapids, Iowa/Washington) scored his second goal of the season with an assist from junior Joe Frerichs (Cedar Rapids, Iowa/Kennedy).  It was the first assist of the season for Frerichs. 

Junior Grady Brown (Madison, Wis./Madison Memorial) improved to 3-0 on the net, as he recorded seven saves on the day.

Coe returns to action on Wednesday as they travel to Ashford.
