INDIANOLA, Iowa - The Coe men's golf team finished fourth at the Simpson Fall Invitational on Tuesday.  The Kohawks also had a second team entered that finished sixth in the nine team field.
Junior Brent Miller (Monona, Iowa/MFL-Mar Mac) led the crimson squad with a 78, tying for 12th.  Senior Brendan George (Rockwell City, Iowa/Pomeroy-Palmer) and freshman Derek Nicholson (Wellman, Iowa/Mid-Prairie) were just two strokes behind Miller in 18th place.  Sophomore Garrett Cross (Spring Grove, Minn./Spring Grove) was 20th with an 81.

Freshman Zach Stafford (Lynnville, Iowa/Lynnville-Sully) led the gold squad with an 84, finishing tied for 26th.

The Crimson squad shot a 319, while the gold squad shot a 352.  The Kohawks return to action on Sunday as they travel to the Clarke Invite in Dubuque.
