DES MOINES, Iowa - Junior Jackie Lerdal (New London, Iowa) led the Coe women's golf team to a fifth place finish at the Iowa Conference Championships, held this weekend and last weekend in Des Moines.

Lerdal finished 14th overall with a 345. She shot an 83 in the second round.

Wartburg took home top honors at the meet with a 1290, beating second place Central and Luther by 53 strokes. The Kohawks were 90 strokes behind fourth place Simpson, but held an 11 stroke lead over sixth place Loras.

Junior Caitlin Johnson (Parker, Colo.) was the only other Kohawk to finish in the top 20 as she shot a 360, putting her in 20th place.
