CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - The Coe women's tennis team finished the fall portion of their dual schedule Saturday with back-to-back 9-0 wins over Carthage and Wartburg.

The win over the Knights puts the Kohawks at 8-0 in Iowa Conference play.

On top of not losing a match all day, the Kohawks didn't drop a single set in the two meets. Senior Molly Fiala (Cedar Rapids, Iowa/Jefferson) held down the top spot for the Kohawks in both meets, as she defeated Beth Kaufman of Carthage 6-4, 6-2 and Molly Eslick of Wartburg 6-2, 6-2.

In doubles play with Wartburg, Coe gave up only two games. Hannah Jensen (Iowa City, Iowa/West) and Katy Delagardelle (Waterloo, Iowa/Columbus) teamed up for an 8-0 win at number three doubles.

Coe will return to action next Friday and Saturday as they travel to the Iowa Conference Team Championships in Iowa City.
