MOUNT VERNON, Iowa - Coe had 12 top-five finishes at the Hilltop Invitational Saturday, including a first-place finish in two events.  Sophomore Keelie Finnel (Francis Creek, Wis./Mishicot) also provisionally qualified for the NCAA Championships.

Finnel had both first place finishes for the Kohawks, as she won the 200-meter dash in 26.44 and the 400-meter dash in 58.64.  Her time in the 400 provisionally qualified her for the NCAA Championships with the fifth fastest time in the nation.  Sophomore Kristen Blodgett (Englewood, Colo./Cherry Creek) finished third in the pole vault with a height of 9' 3/4".

Senior Justine Screws (Cedar Rapids, Iowa/Jefferson) was fourth in the 800-meter run in 2:24.04, while Coe also had fourth place finishes in the triple and high jumps.  In the triple jump, Kirstin Franklin (Greeley, Colo./West) was fourth in 33' 3", while Cassandra Morigaki (Hilo, Hawaii/Waiakea) was fourth in the high jump at 4' 9 3/4".  Stefani Wright (Chicago, Ill./St. Ignatius) was fifth in both the 55-meter dash and the 200-meter dash.  She finished in 7.66 in the 55 and 27.03 in the 200.

On the men's side, sophomore Jared Kuehner (Center Point, Iowa/Center Point-Urbana) had Coe's top finish in the high jump, as he finished third in 6' 3 1/2".  Marcus Hausein was fourth in the long jump at 20' 11 3/4".  Coe had two fifth place finishes in the throws, as Eric Ritter (Iowa City, Iowa/West) was fifth in the shot put at 47' 6 1/2", while Dale Anderson (Galva, Ill./Galva) was fifth in the weight throw at 51' 3/4".

Coe will return to action next Saturday, as they travel to the Wisconsin-Platteville Invite.
