CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - Augustana came away with a 35-20 win over the Kohawks in a dual meet held Saturday at Noelridge Park in Cedar Rapids. The Augies took home four of the top five spots, with Coe's Ashley Schnell (Lincoln, Neb./North Star) placing fourth in a time of 15:57.35.
Staci Werger (Elkader, Iowa/Central) placed sixth in a time of 16:02.79, while Linda Freiha (Cedar Rapids, Iowa/Kennedy) ran a time of 16:37.22, good enough for seventh. Jessie Robison (Iowa City, Iowa/City) placed eighth in a time of 16:42.78.
Ellen Adams placed first for Augustana in a time of 15:13.47.
The Kohawks return to action next Saturday as they travel to the Grinnell Invitational.
