CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - Coe took a 2-1 lead into singles play and was enough to pull away from conference rival Luther today. Coe held a 5-1 advantage in singles play, as they improved to 10-1 overall with the 7-2 win over Luther.

Senior Molly Fiala (Cedar Rapids, Iowa/Jefferson) was one of four Kohawks to win both matches on the day. Fiala and junior Andrea Schupbach (Waterloo, Iowa/Columbus) posted an 8-0 win over Luther's number one team, just won week after the duo captured the ITA Midwest Regional Doubles Championship. Schupbach also won her doubles match at number three singles.

Sophomore Hannah Jensen (Iowa City, Iowa/West) and Katy Delagardelle (Waterloo, Iowa/Columbus) both won in singles play, as well as combining for an 8-5 win at number three doubles.

Coe will return to action next Saturday as they host Carthage and Wartburg in a pair of meets.
