CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - For the first time in the newly renovated Eby Fieldhouse, the Coe volleyball team dropped a match. After the Kohawks took a 2-0 lead, Wisconsin-Platteville bounced back to take the final three games for the 3-2 victory.

Sophomore Taylor Coots (Bettendorf, Iowa/Bettendorf) led the Kohawks with 15 kills.

Senior Shayla Chalker (Melbourne, Aus./Upwey) and sophomore Marisa Graham (Quimby, Iowa/River Valley) each added eight kills for Coe. Senior Rachel Robbins (Centennial, Colo./Arapahoe) and Chalker led the Kohawks with 22 and 16 assists each. Three Kohawks had 13 or more digs, led by Chalker's 20.

The Kohawks will take the weekend off before opening Iowa Conference play next Tuesday against Dubuque. The match will begin at 7:30 p.m. in Dubuque.
