INDIANOLA, Iowa - The Coe volleyball team dropped a 3-0 decision to league-leading Simpson Tuesday night at the Cowles Fieldhouse.

The Storm held the Kohawks under 20 points in the first two games, winning 25-18 and 25-19. Coe battled back in the third game, before losing 25-21. Coe held a 20-19 lead in the third game.

Sophomore Taylor Coots (Bettendorf, Iowa/Bettendorf) led the Kohawks with seven kills and a .263 hitting percentage. Senior Shayla Chalker (Melbourne, Aus./Upwey) added six kills and six digs.

Senior Kate Olson (Saint Louis Park, Minn./Saint Louis Park) had a game-high three serving aces.

The Kohawks return to action this weekend as they travel to Rock Island, Ill. for the Augustana Invitational.
