CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - Knox used a 14-4 run midway through the first half to take a 25-14 lead with 9:57 to play in the first half, but the Kohawks fought back to make it 32-31 in favor of the Prairie Fire at the break.

Coe opened the second half on a 26-12 run to break the game open, while holding on for a 74-64 win over Knox.

A lay-up by junior Cass Behrens (Highlands Ranch, Colo./Mountain Vista) made it 57-44 with 7:57 to play. The Prairie Fire didn't get closer than 10 the rest of the game.

Sophomore Alex Tatman (Humboldt, Iowa/Humboldt) led the Kohawks with 18 points and nine rebounds. He also added four assists. Freshman Jordan Cunningham (Mankato, Minn./East) and junior Brett Petersen (Gibson City, Ill./Gibson City) joined Tatman in double-figures with 11 and 13 points respectively.

Coe returns to action on Dec. 3 as they host defending Iowa Conference Champion Loras. Tipoff is scheduled for 8 p.m. at Eby Fieldhouse.
