DUBUQUE, Iowa - The Coe wrestling team earned it's third straight Iowa Conference dual win Friday night, as they cruised to a 38-7 win over Loras. Second-ranked Clayton Rush (Aledo, Ill./Aledo) kicked things off with a fall in 1:49 at 125 pounds.

Sophomore Brandon Ball (Columbus Junction, Iowa/Columbus Junction) earned bonus points as well for the Kohawks at 133 pounds with a 14-2 major decision over Mark Beatty.

Junior Tyler Baker (Byron, Ill./Stillman Valley) earned the Kohawks second major decision of the dual at 149 pounds with a 9-0 win over Mitch Gleason. Coe put the match away at the middle weight, as junior Tyler Burkle (Coggon, Iowa/North-Linn) and Byron Grothus (Davenport, Iowa/Assumption) both earned wins by fall. Burkle won in 1:57 and Grothus in 2:57. Senior Greg Lalla (Iowa City, Iowa/City) won by forfeit at 184. Rob Kramer (Swisher, Iowa/Prairie) and Mitch Sander (Clarence, Iowa/North Cedar) both won by decision at 197 and heavyweight to close out the meet for the Kohawks.

The Kohawks return to action next Saturday as they travel to Dubuque for the Iowa Conference Duals, where they will face Wartburg, Simpson and Dubuque.
