KALAMAZOO, Mich. - A great season by both Coe College men's and women's tennis programs came to a close Thursday at the NCAA National Championships in singles and doubles.

 

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - Junior Tai Lucero (Odessa, Texas/Permian) has been named to the CoSIDA/Capital One All-District Eight First Team. Lucero is now eligible for All-American honors.

 

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - The Coe College tennis program will send three events to the NCAA National Singles and Doubles Championships next week. Two singles players and a doubles team will compete for the Kohawks.

 

SAINT LOUIS, Mo. - The Coe College women's tennis dual meet season came to an end on Friday, as 13th-ranked DePauw defeated the Kohawks 5-1 in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.

 

SAINT LOUIS, Mo. - The Coe College women's tennis team remained perfect in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on Thursday, as they defeated Franklin 5-0. It was Coe's fourth win in four first round appearances.

The Coe College tennis program competed in three events at the NCAA National Championships.
Junior Tai Lucero has been named to the CoSIDA/Capital One Academic All-District Team.
Senior Michelle Schupbach, sophomore Noah Sprinkel and junior Tai Lucero have all qualified for NCAA postseason competition.
Senior Michelle Schupbach and junior Tai Lucero earned Coe's only win at number one doubles.
Junior Elizabeth Hoffmann picked up a pair of wins for the Kohawks in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
