CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - Coe beat Knox Wednesday night for the fourth-straight time at Eby Fieldhouse.  The Kohawks controlled the match from the beginning, taking the 3-0 sweep in the season opener.

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - Sophomore Molly Steffens (Peosta, Iowa/Western Dubuque) has been named to the All-Iowa Conference Team.  A second team selection, Steffens was the only Kohawk selected to the team.

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - The first blackout event for the 2009-10 school year has been set for Tuesday night's volleyball match between Coe and Luther.  The Student Athlete Advisory Committee is planning an event for one home game for each sport.

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - The Coe College volleyball team will be participating in the Dig Pink National Breast Cancer Awareness Rally this week.  The Kohawks will face Mount Mercy at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Eby Fieldhouse, with both teams participating in the event.

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - Coe took a 2-1 lead with a convincing 25-12 win in the third set Wednesday night at Eby Fieldhouse, but Dubuque used two late rallies for a 3-2 Iowa Conference victory.  The Spartans won the fourth set 30-28 and held on for a 15-12 win in the final set.
