CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - After being picked to finish seventh in the Iowa Conference last season, the Kohawks surprised the league, and the nation, with a second place-finish and an appearance in the quarterfinals of the NCAA Division III playoffs. This season, Head Coach Steve Staker's squad is picked second by the league coaches.

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - For the third time this summer, the Kohawks are ranked in a preseason poll.  Coe is ranked 12th in the D3football.com poll, the highest of their three preseason rankings.

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - The Coe College football team, fresh off its best finish in school history, is ranked in two preseason polls.  The Kohawks are ranked 18th in The Sporting News poll and 20th in the USA Today Top 25 poll.

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - Coe College freshman Frank Weymiller (New Albin, Iowa/Waukon) has been named a D3football.com All-American. Weymiller was one of just three Iowa Conference players selected to the team, earning honorable mention honors.

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - A celebration to honor Coe Football Head Coach Steve Staker, the football coaching staff, the team, and everyone associated with Kohawk football will be held in Clark Racquet Center Friday, Jan. 15 at 4:30 p.m. All students, faculty, staff and supporters of Kohawk athletics are invited to participate.
