CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) has announced that Coe College wrestler Rob Kramer (Swisher, Iowa/Prairie) has been awarded an NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship. The NCAA awards up to 174 postgraduate scholarships annually, 87 for men and 87 for women.

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - For the third-straight year, the Coe wrestling team has had the highest combined overall national championship placing and academic standing in wrestling.  The Kohawks had the third highest GPA in the nation, while finishing fourth on the mat.

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - Junior Clayton Rush (Aledo, Ill./Aledo) has been named the inaugural D3Wrestle.com National Wrestler of the Year.  Rush, a junior physical education major, won the NCAA Championship at 125 pounds in dominating fashion, winning four matches at the tournament with his closest margin of victory at seven points.

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - Junior Clayton Rush (Aledo, Ill./Aledo) became Coe's second Wrestling National Champion Saturday night with a 14-3 major decision at 125 pounds.  It was the second appearance in the championship match for Rush, who lost in 2008.
