CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - The Coe College softball team placed a league-high six players on the All-Iowa Conference First Team, while also having the league's Player and Coach of the Year.

 

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - Junior Abby Flannagan (Manchester, Iowa/West Delaware) has been named to the CoSIDA/Capital One Academic All-District Eight First Team. Flannagan is now eligible for All-American honors.

 

PELLA, Iowa - The Coe College softball season came to an end Saturday at the NCAA Regional Championships. Coe beat Fontbonne 8-5 in the opener before falling 5-1 to Augustana.

 

PELLA, Iowa - There was no need for extra innings Friday at the NCAA Reginal Championships, as Coe blasted Bethany Lutheran 11-0 in five innings. One of six remaining teams in the tournament, Coe advances to play Saturday. 

 

PELLA, Iowa - The 12th-ranked Coe College softball team let a two run lead slip away in extra innings Thursday, as Washington University in St. Louis knocked off the Kohawks 7-6 in 10 innings in the NCAA Regional opener.

Along with the Player and Coach of the Year, Coe had a league-high six All-Iowa Conference First Team selections.
Junior Abby Flannagan was named to the CoSIDA/Capital One Academic All-District Team.
Sophomore Brianna Hull had a hit in each game on Saturday in the NCAA Tournament.
Junior Abby Flannagan broke Coe's career and single-season RBI record in the win over Bethany Lutheran.
Junior Morgan Louck drove in a pair of runs for the Kohawks in an extra inning loss to Washington University of St. Louis.
