CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - A celebration to
honor Coe Football Head Coach Steve Staker, the football coaching
staff, the team, and everyone associated with Kohawk football will be
held in Clark Racquet Center Friday, Jan. 15 at 4:30 p.m. All
students, faculty, staff and supporters of Kohawk athletics are invited to participate.
Fred Jackson was named the Buffalo Bills MVP for the 2009 season.
ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. - Former Kohawk and current Buffalo Bill, Fred Jackson, was named the Most Valuable Player for the 2009 season. Jackson led the Bills with 1,000 yards rushing for the first time in his career.
Coe's Steve Staker was named the Liberty Mutual Division III Coach of the Year.
NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. - Coe Head Football Coach Steve Staker has been
named the Liberty Mutual National Coach of the Year for NCAA Division III. As the winner of the award, Staker will be
able to designate $50,000 to the charities of his choice, with an additional
$20,000 to benefit alumni programs at Coe.
For the first time in school history, the Kohawk football team is ranked in the top 10.
CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - The history making season for the Kohawk football program continues to get better. The final rankings for D3football.com had the Kohawks ranked 10th in the nation Monday, the highest the program has ever been ranked.
