CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - The Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (IIAC) announced that Coe College senior Greg Janssen (Oshkosh, Wis./West) has been named the 2010 IIAC Men's Tennis Most Valuable Player. Janssen was named all-conference in both singles and doubles.

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - Senior Greg Janssen (Oshkosh, Wis./West) earned his third All-Iowa Conference honor in singles Saturday, as he was crowned the 2010 Iowa Conference Singles Champion.  Janssen was a quarterfinalist in 2007 and 2009, allowing him to be a member of the All-IIAC team.

IOWA CITY, Iowa - Following a 5-0 win over Central in the semifinals of the Iowa Conference Championships, Coe was defeated 5-2 by Luther in the championship match.  It was the eighth time in the last nine years the two schools have met for the title.

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - The Coe men's tennis team closed the dual meet regular season with a 9-0 win over Loras Friday at the Clark Racquet Center.  With the win, the Kohawks improved to 15-7 overall and 7-1 in the Iowa Conference this year.

HOLLAND, Mich. - The Coe men's tennis team improved to 14-7 on the year with a 7-2 win over regional opponent Hope Saturday.  Coe took a 2-1 advantage into singles play, where they earned wins at 2-5.
